NCE Flood Management Forum

Thomson Habitats are delighted to announce that we will be exhibiting at the NCE Flood Management Forum on the 20th October in London.

This annual event provides a perfect opportunity for the industry to gather and reflect on the critical lessons learnt from the recent floods and discuss new approaches to flood risk management.

The 2016 event will focus on three core themes:

  • The winter flooding: assessing response, recovery and the lessons learnt
  • Evolving flood risk management strategies: flood resistance, resilience and response
  • A joined up approach: community engagement and funding mechanisms for better flood risk management

The Thomson Habitats team has extensive experience in working on flood defence schemes including the WEM framework and EA Minor works framework. We have significant experience in delivering vegetation clearance, soft landscaping and ecological mitigation on flood defence projects across the UK.

We hope to see you at the conference and look forward to discussing how we can assist on your schemes and developments throughout the UK. You can find out more information here.
