Landscaping in Luton
12th December 2011
We have just completed landscaping works on a road-facing rail embankment in Luton.
After putting traffic management measures in place, we strimmed the area to ground level and removed the arisings. Using an excavator and where necessary, hand tools, we carefully stripped the topsoil, after which we replaced it with clean topsoil.
We then planted the area with large specimen trees including laurel and hornbeam, we spread mulch, and installed tanalised edgings to prevent and control erosion.
